European Market Opening Timing in India: Europe is considered as the birthplace of stock exchanges, with the Amsterdam Stock Exchange being established in 1602. During that time, the exchange played a crucial role as one of the most significant trading hubs under the Dutch East India Company. The Amsterdam Stock Exchange is recognized as the first-ever stock exchange in the world.
It is worth noting that the Frankfurt Stock Exchange has even earlier roots, dating back to the year 1585. The Euronext Market, a stock exchange based in the European Union, opens at 12:30 PM IST in India and stays operational until 09:00 PM IST.
Similarly, the (SIX) Swiss Exchange remains open from 01:30 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST, while the BME Spanish Exchange operates from 01:30 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST.
The London Stock Exchange remains open from 01:30 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST. Around 27 markets are available in Europe, and they follow the regular trading hours mentioned above.
